Proximity Card Readers

ReaDX proximity readers all provide a Wiegand output allowing the reader to be used in conjunction with a wide range of access control systems.

ReaDX short range proximity readers (10000 and 20000 series) come standard as a ReaDX Cool Grey Mullion reader. Alternative reader housings are available as accessories. The reader housings are injection moulded in a high strength, high impact resistant engineering plastic. In addition, the reader electronics are potted with an epoxy resin to enhance their resistance to harsh weather conditions and vandal attack.

The ReaDX Prox reader (10000 and 20000 series) have an Environmental Protection Rating of IP66. This rating means that the reader is protected against water ingress and dust.

The Prox Keypad Reader (30000 Series ) proximity card and PIN reader support a range of card reader formats being EM-ASK, Casi-Rusco, HID and Motorola/Indala compatible. Custom and proprietary formats can be engineered on request.
