Proximity Cards and Transponders
ReaDX provides a range of proximity cards and transponder tags. In addition an Encoder is available to encode data onto these cards and tags.
Proximity Cards and Transponders
The transmission technique used between the transponder and the reader is Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK), Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) and Phase Shift Keying (PSK) modulated on a carrier wave at 125kHz*. The transponders are Temic IC's with multiple read/write capability.
ReaDX Proximity Cards include:
- Half Shell cards
- ISO cards, a printable laminated card similar to a credit card
- ISO Magnetic cards, an ISO card containing a magnetic stripe
- Key fob
- Other 'special order' transponders by arrangement
The credit card sized transponders can have Photo ID added to further enhance security.
ReaDX transponders can be supplied unencoded or encoded in a range of formats and protocols (data bit lengths).
